L.A. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts may be looking a little worse for wear in the dugout on Friday night versus the Toronto Blue Jays.
Roberts, who has served as the Dodgers manager since 2016, was doing everything he could to keep his team loose on Thursday. There is a ton of pressure on his team right now, as they need a win on Friday night to force a Game 7 in the World Series.
To help ease the tension, Roberts had some fun with his team at Rogers Centre on Thursday. The 53-year-old was spotted out on the field attempting to race second baseman Hyesong Kim around the bases. Not only did he lose the race despite having a head start, but he also took a hilarious tumble after rounding second.
“I was supposed to start even and go first to third,” Roberts said shortly after his fall.
