FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Allen County Democratic Party Chairman Chad Wierzbinski called for the resignation of Fort Wayne City Clerk Lana Keesling at a Friday press conference.

During the press conference, Wierzbinski criticized Keesling for her dual positions with the City and the Indiana Republican Party, noting every other person who has been in that position resigned from their prior elected roles.

In his statement, Wierzbinski accuses Keesling of playing a role in the disenfranchisement of voters.

The chairman argues that Keesling has neglected her duties as city clerk by prioritizing her Republican Chairwoman work.

The Allen County Democratic Party says it considered these details when calling on Keesling to resign from her city clerk position.
