The driver of a limousine-style bus that overturned Thursday on Interstate 75, sending 11 people to the hospital including teenagers, was not properly certified to drive the vehicle, authorities announced Friday.

A 2008 Ford Super Duty limo-bus was packed with 15 occupants, mostly teenagers, when it crashed around 5:45 p.m. Thursday near mile marker 16 in Frenchtown Township in Monroe County, the Michigan State Police said.
