ALLEN PARK – Dan Campbell was no stranger to team Halloween parties during his NFL playing days, which he shared — and then some — when speaking to reporters on Friday.
The Detroit Lions coach took a question about his and his wife, Holly, participating in the annual October celebration, and Campbell revealed one of the more unique costumes he once wore.
“We dressed up a little bit. We had a few. I answered this the other day, I don’t know if (Lions team reporter) Dannie (Rogers) was in there, but I was Marilyn Monroe one year,” Campbell shared.
“That was a long time ago, and that wasn’t here. I’m sure you can find some old stuff. But anyway, we paired up pretty good, let’s just put it that way. Holly’s the creative one. She always had pretty good ideas and stuff.”
