Weight loss clinic Medi-Weightloss Austin North has a new set of owners.

Shankar and Indira Bellam took over as owners of the franchise Oct. 13. The duo also acquired a College Station clinic and are in the process of developing a Georgetown location, Shankar said.

The clinic provides a variety of services to support weight loss such as IV therapy, vitamin and nutrition injections, and programs for adolescents or corporate companies.

The clinic also offers GLP-1 weight loss medications including Zepbound, Wegovy and Saxenda.

What's changing?

According to Shankar, the clinic will soon launch bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, or BHRT, and implement a new pricing model for its other services.
