LAKE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The Lake County Narcotics Agency seized over 1.5 pounds of meth, other drugs and guns after an investigation into meth being trafficked in pill form to resemble Adderall.

According to a Lake County Narcotics Agency Facebook post, over the last month, the agency, along with local and federal law enforcement, has conducted several investigations into the trafficking of meth to resemble Adderall.

The meth is pressed into orange and round pills to look like the medication.

The agency said this trend is alarming, as the potential for accidental misuse and overdose is high.

"As we often remind our residents, the only safe place to receive medication is from your doctor and/or pharmacist," the post stated.
