MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A Memphis-Shelby County School security officer is among 20 people charged in an FBI sting in Mississippi on drug trafficking charges .

MSCS confirms Aasahan Roach is on administrative leave after being named in the indictment as one of six co-conspirators involved in the ring.

The indictment includes Roach and six other people who allegedly conspired to aid and abet the drug trafficking ring that was running drugs throughout the Mississippi Delta and into Memphis.

On Thursday, federal officials announced the arrests, which spanned multiple counties and multiple jurisdictions in the Mississippi Delta.

Fourteen current and former Mississippi law enforcement officers, including two sheriffs, were arrested.
