WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (WMC) - A Kansas man was sentenced to four life sentences plus another 830 years in prison for a 2024 murder in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Aston Wardlow, 26, was sentenced Thursday after a convicted of first-degree murder, 17 counts of terroristic acts and 18 counts of firearm enhancements.

The charges stem from a June 2024 shooting that took the life of 23-year-old Ivori Harris.

Harris was found inside her vehicle on Wilson Road.

Investigators say the two had been in a relationship for six years. A friend of the victim testified that the relationship was abusive.

Wardlow fired a gun 17 times into Harris’ vehicle, causing it to crash into a home and nearly killing a person inside.

Wardlow then fled to Carbondale, Kansas, where he was eventually captured.
