GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A woman was shot and killed Friday afternoon just minutes after leaving work at a plasma donation center in Duluth.
The shooting happened in the parking lot of the Promenade at Pleasant Hill shopping center on Pleasant Hill Road.
“At approximately 3 p.m., officers were dispatched to 1625 Pleasant Hill Road in reference to a female who had been shot,” a Gwinnett County police spokesperson said.

Police described the crime as a "domestic-related homicide." The victim's name hasn't been released, but co-workers say she was in her early 20s.
