Valparaiso woman receives suspended sentence for leaving scene of fatal crash

CROWN POINT — A judge sentenced a Valparaiso woman Friday to four years in prison, suspended to work release and probation, for leaving the scene of a fatal Merrillville crash that killed a Gary woman in 2022.
