After the best season in program history, members of the Montana State women’s basketball team are not feeling any pressure to replicate that level of success.
A quick refresher: the Bobcats went 30-4 overall to become the first Big Sky women’s team to reach 30 victories; they went on a school-record 19-game winning streak; they won the Big Sky Tournament championship game against rival Montana in buzzer-beating fashion ; and they earned a No. 13 seed in the NCAA Tournament, where they lost to No. 4 seed Ohio State .
While accomplishing all that, the Bobcats for the second year in a row set their program record for fewest points allowed per game (55.9).
All things considered, that would be an extremely high bar to try to clear. But as the Bobcats have prepared for the 2025-26 season
