WASHINGTON, D.C. — When Veterans Day arrives Tuesday, Nov. 11, the U.S. Postal Service will pause regular operations to honor those who served, but that doesn’t mean all mail services are on hold.

All Post Office locations will close in observance of the federal holiday, USPS announced , with regular mail delivery and retail counter services set to resume Wednesday, Nov. 12. Only Priority Mail Express, the Postal Service’s fastest shipping option, will still make its rounds.
