CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (WNDU) - After a week off, Notre Dame is back in action on Saturday at Boston College.

The Irish are entering this game as big favorites according to some, as the Eagles are currently 1-7 this year and have lost seven straight games since beating FCS Fordham in their season opener.

With that in mind, this should be a big day for Notre Dame’s offense. Boston College has the 11th-worst scoring defense in the country, as the Eagles allow nearly 34 points per game. They’re especially bad against the run, where they allow 163 yards per game on the ground.
