Tourists should be able to book a visit to the White House this holiday season after tours were recently suspended due to the construction of President Donald Trump’s ballroom.
The White House will be resuming its tours with an “updated route” on Dec. 2, according to an announcement from first lady Melania Trump’s office. The White House paused the public tours in August before the recent demolition of the East Wing.
“The White House will reopen its doors for public tours on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, with an updated route offering guests the opportunity to experience the history and beauty of the People’s House,” the announcement, released Friday, stated.
