The next Outdoor Art Sketching Tour event will take participants to Surprise Community Park.

Art tours are free, educational opportunities for the public to learn about art in the city by touring its public art collection and visiting local studios and galleries.

The next one is from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13. The starting location is in the lobby of the Surprise Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Ave.

Teaching artist, Rae Wilson will guide participants of all ages and skill levels to create their own sketches, taking notice of the art and creativity all around in a low-stress, outdoor, judgment-free zone.

Sketchbooks and pencils will be provided.

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
