“It’s the most meaningful work I’ve ever done in my career,” said Ben Myers of Tebo Properties c, who helped organize the event. “This effort is about giving back to Nederland, honoring our tenants who lost everything, supporting our neighbors and helping the town begin to heal and rebuild.”

Myers, who usually works in commercial real estate, said planning the rally has given him a new appreciation for the sheer coordination involved in community events. “I used to think you just booked a band and they showed up to play,” he said. “But the details, coordination and heart that goes into something like this is incredible.”
