The Frederick County Council discussed proposed changes to the county land use code on Tuesday that may open the door for archery ranges to be regulated differently from firearms ranges in the future.

The proposed separation of the archery and firearms categories are part of a broader package of proposed amendments to chapters 1 to 19 of the Frederick County Code.
