KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
A little boy with a rare condition wasn’t able to go door to door to trick or treat this year, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t get his share of Halloween fun.
Tucker Langford, 3, is battling recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, a disorder that makes his skin as fragile as butterfly wings. He was also diagnosed with a rare heart condition. The condition has left his heart functioning at just 22%. Advertisement
Due to his health conditions and being placed on hospice care, he wasn’t able to go trick-or-treating, so his mom took to social media to ask for help. The Kansas City community answered in a big way.
Tucker has been receiving gifts and candy every day from across the country.
“I always believe Halloween is a kids' holiday, you know?” said Rick Langford
