BROOK PARK, Ohio – A Brook Park woman, 57, was attacked and bitten by two pit bulls on Terre Drive.

The incident was reported at about 5 p.m. Oct. 15. The woman said she was walking her dog on Terre when the two pit bulls ran out of a house and attacked her.

A Sheldon Road man said he was working on his car when he heard the woman scream for help. He looked and saw the pit bulls attacking the woman as she held her dog in her arms.

The man ran to help the woman. He grabbed the collars of the pit bulls but they were so strong they kept pulling away. The pit bulls finally ran away.

By the time police arrived, the woman had returned to her home on a nearby street. She was talking to paramedics outside. A hole was in her pants and a bite mark was on her thigh.
