The United Way of Pueblo County is working with community partners to cover gaps as approximately $8 million in SNAP benefits will likely fail to arrive on Nov. 1.
The United Way has established a fund for donations, 100% of which goes to local food pantries.
The organization has also provided a list of local pantries, churches and nonprofits where people can donate to help out.
