Cecil McCrary is charged with murder after police say he admitted to killing his girlfriend, Tange Davis

The remains of a missing Georgia woman were discovered after her boyfriend allegedly confessed to killing her, according to police.

The Cobb County Police Department initially responded to a missing person report on Oct. 11, according to a news release , which states the victim's son told officers he hadn't seen his mother in two days.

Police later found a car belonging to the victim, Tange Davis, 45, in the parking lot of a grocery store in Mableton, Ga.
