MOUND, Minn — We all have a favorite holiday. Something about it just entices us so much that it's hard to pick another.
For Bob Dorfner, it's not the Fourth of July or New Years – but Halloween.
"I get about 400 kids a year," Dorfner said.
"I get people that's become a tradition for them to come by."
He decorates his house in Mound with all sorts of decorations. From goblins to ghouls, facemasks to vampires, there are dozens of animatronics and decor pieces he's collected over the years.
"The pirate is the very first object I got," he said, standing in his driveway.
"'77?" Dorfner said, when asked when he bought it. "Just a few years now."
Dorfner says he spends about $800 a year on decorations.
