2Man arrested for double burglary after repeated break-ins at 16th Street apartment building
WASHINGTON, DC — A man accused of forcing his way into a Northwest DC apartment building twice in just over a week and stealing packages has been arrested, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
On Wednesday, October 29, Houssem Eddine Ben Gania, 48, who has no fixed address, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Burglary Two in connection with two separate incidents at the same building in the 1700 block of 16th Street NW.
Police say the first break-in occurred around 11:55 p.m. on Friday, October 17, and the second at approximately 5:54 p.m. on Monday, October 27. In both cases, the suspect allegedly forced entry through the front door of the apartment building and s
