US President Donald Trump said on Friday that the United States and Canada will not restart trade talks. He added that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney had apologised for an anti-tariff commercial that disrupted the negotiations.
"I like him a lot but what they did was wrong," Trump said. "He apologised for what they did with the commercial because it was a false commercial."
However, Carney has not yet responded.
Trade negotiations between the two countries were called off by Trump last week over the
