DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - People across the QCA spent the day getting into the Halloween spirit, including kids at McKinley Elementary School.
Friday afternoon, students did a two-lap parade around their outside track to celebrate Halloween.
The kids showcased their costumes and parents stood on the other side of the fence cheering them on, but the kids weren’t the only ones who got into the spooky season.
“Took them a minute this morning to realize who I was as I was greeting them as they came out of the buses,” said Cassie Ehrecke, McKinley Elementary School Counselor. “I think the kids really enjoyed seeing the adults participating too.”
After the parade, the students went back to the classroom to continue the party.
