CHINA GROVE — South Rowan won 20-14 against Carson in Thursday’s JV football game.

Willie Carlberg ran for a touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to Kaiden Fisher for the Raiders.

A 95-yard kickoff return TD by Fisher set up a scoring run by Austin Wood for another South TD.

Jack Garmon led a strong defensive effort by the Raiders (4-6).

Carson Pethel and Landon Stirewalt scored touchdowns for Carson (4-6).

DJ Blakeney had a long kickoff return.
