Halloween forecast: Cool, clear night sets the stage for treats and football in North Texas

Halloween night brings perfect weather for trick-or-treating and Friday night football, with temperatures dipping into the low 60s by 8 p.m. and upper 50s by 11 p.m. Clouds will roll in, but rain isn’t expected until Saturday morning. Meteorologist Jeff Ray was playfully dubbed the “Halloween Weather Hero” for delivering the festive forecast.
