A 101-year-old Will Rogers High School alum visited his alma mater this week, for the first time since he graduated in 1942.

He spent time with students and got a tour of the building.

Roy Fritze’s visit back to school came about because he was interested in attending an upcoming birthday celebration for Will Rogers, put on by the Will Rogers High School Community Foundation. But with hundreds of people expected at that event, the alumni on the foundation thought they’d give Fritze his own personal tour, so he could take it all in.

Just a few things have changed at the historic building over the last eight decades; leave it to 101-year-old Fritze to notice.
