Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday launched a series of development projects worth ₹75 crore aimed at transforming the historic Shri Kali Mata Temple.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Kejriwal asserted that previous governments in Punjab had “never bothered to start these projects of immense public significance.” He expressed gratitude that the AAP government had been “bestowed this opportunity” and assured that all works would be completed within a year.
