Guyer clamps down Lewisville, claims 5

DENTON – Denton Guyer’s defense flexed its muscles in the second half Friday night.

The Wildcats held Lewisville scoreless over the final two quarters and forced a pair of turnovers leading to points, including a defensive score, as Guyer won at home, 47-21, to clinch at least a share of the District 5-6A title.
