COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The College Station Cougars outlasted the Pflugerville Weiss Wolves 35-31 on Friday night at Cougar Field.
After starting its season 0-4, College Station picked up its sixth straight win to close out the regular season.
Why did College Station win? After being down 14-3 headed into halftime, the Cougars were able to take control of this game posting two interceptions in the second half, one of them a pick-6.
Standout performance: On defense, the 25-yard, pick-6 to start the third quarter coming from linebacker Wade Couch.
What’s next? The Cougars have a bye week before entering the playoffs. The Wolves host Anderson at 7:30 on Nov. 6th.
