Voters in Oregon will choose between two mayoral candidates and six members of council in the general election on Tuesday.
Mayor Michael J. Seferian is seeking a fifth four-year term as mayor. His opponent, Steven Salander, is currently on council.
Six candidates will be vying for three seats on council. Incumbents Paul R. Drake III, Terrance E. Reeves, and Dennis Walendzak are seeking re-election. Challengers include Marvin Dabish, Thomas Lambrecht, and Paul J. Gibbs, Sr.
Mr. Seferian, 68, was on council for 18 years, from 1989 to 2001 and from 2003 to 2009, before he was elected mayor in 2009.
Mr. Seferian, of Eagles Landing Drive, said he is seeking re-election because being mayor has become a way of life for him.
