RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say two juveniles were wounded in a shooting in Blythewood on Friday night.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department said the shooting happened around 10:45 p.m. in the 11000 block of Wilson Boulevard. Investigators said there had been a large bonfire at the location with roughly 500 people in attendance when the shooting happened.

Deputies found the two victims with gunshot wounds to the upper body. Both victims were taken to an area hospital, and deputies didn't have specific details on their conditions.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department said its Crime Scene Unit has been called in to investigate. Investigators urge anyone with information about the incident to call 803-576-3000 or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
