A major apartment developer in the local area is opening the second chapter of its Cooper River Farms project in Berkeley County — and half the residences are already reserved.
Woodfield Development , based out of Charleston, introduced the first phase of the 56-acre rental community off Clements Ferry Road and next to the Daniel Island Marina in 2015.
Now 10 years later, the second phase is wrapped up and putting out the welcome mat.
The new four-story, elevator-served building adds 71 studio, one- and two-bedroom units to the community. Construction began in May 2024 with the first deliveries received in July 2025.
“Cooper River Farms has been one of our strongest performers in the Charleston market, and the second phase is a direct extension of that success,” said Mike Schwarz
