PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Narragansett Council of the Boy Scouts of America were out in local neighborhoods this morning, gathering donations from residents across Rhode Island, Southeast Massachusetts and Southeast Connecticut.
The event, now in its 38th year, collects more than 50 tons of food for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank annually.
This is the state's largest food drive.
