MARICOPA, AZ (AZFamily) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash south of the Valley on Friday evening.
At about 7 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the area of Smith-Enke Road and Porter Road on a report of a crash, according to the Maricopa Police Department.
Crews arrived on scene and determined that a motorcycle and a sedan had collided, throwing the motorcyclist from their bike. The rider died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
