One person is dead after a boat crash on Norris Lake in Union County Saturday morning.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, who is investigating the crash, says two vessels collided around 8:30am near the Highway 33 bridge.

Wildlife officers report that both boats had two occupants onboard. Two people were sent to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, but one was lost in the water.

After a search, officials found and recovered the missing boater's body.

They have not released the identity of the person.
