BRANDON, Fla. (WFLA) — A French bulldog puppy was reunited with his owner after being stolen during an armed burglary at a Brandon cellphone store, according to authorities.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, at 12:27 a.m. Wednesday, the store owner confronted three masked suspects who fled with the puppy.
Detectives launched an investigation during which four suspects were identified.
Video shows deputies serving a search warrant at an apartment in the Westbury at Lake Brandon complex, where they found the puppy, named King, safely hidden inside a drawer.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tony Marshall, 19, and Deshaun Jenkins, 18, along with two others — a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old.
