William & Mary dominated in all phases Saturday afternoon, defeating UAlbany 37–7 at Zable Stadium behind an extraordinary special teams performance that included three blocked punts for safeties and a touchdown on a fake field goal.
The Tribe (5–4, 4–2 CAA) opened with a statement drive capped by a 5-yard touchdown run from holder Joey Tomasso on a fake field goal. Minutes later, Josh Miller blocked a punt that went out of the end zone for a safety, giving William & Mary an early 9–0 advantage.
