Kyiv: In one of the most intense aerial strikes of recent weeks, Ukraine launched a powerful overnight drone attack on Russia’s Black Sea port city of Tuapse, inflicting damage on vital energy infrastructure and sparking a large-scale fire, according to both Ukrainian and Russian sources.
Russian authorities confirmed that part of the port complex caught fire following a swarm-style drone assault late Sunday, which targeted the Tuapse oil terminal and refinery both key installations owned by the state energy giant Rosneft. The Krasnodar regional administration stated that emergency services battled the blaze through the night, successfully containing it by early Monday morning.
