MARIETTA -- Hunter Lockerman threw for 285 yards and six touchdowns as River Ridge ended its season with a one-sided 56-7 victory over Lassiter on Friday at Frank Fillmann Stadium.

Most of Lockerman's work was done in the first half as the Knights (7-3, 4-3 Region 6AAAAA) scored 29 second-quarter points to take a 42-0 lead at the break.

Micah Pugh had two touchdown receptions for River Ridge, as did Andrew Rowe.

Of the six touchdowns Lockerman threw, three were from more than 50 yards out.

“We came out and executed offensively, defensively and special teams,” River Ridge coach Mike Collins said. “We were able to hit some big plays, which was what we needed. It's been a while since we've done that. The defense threw around and tackled well. I was very proud of them.”
