British Transport Police have ruled out terrorism in a knife attack on a train Saturday night that left 11 people wounded including two who have life-threatening injuries.
Police said on Sunday that two men have been arrested: a 32-year-old and a 35-year-old.
Officials were also quick to note that both men were British born and point out their ethnicity, something that has become increasingly common among British police forces to avoid online speculation.
The younger man is Black and the older one is a British national of Caribbean descent, police said. However, they have yet to determine what motivated the attack.
