London, Nov 2: At least nine people are being treated for life-threatening injuries following a series of stabbings aboard a train near Cambridge in eastern England on Saturday evening, police confirmed. Two suspected attackers have been arrested, and counterterrorism officers are assisting with the investigation.

According to British Transport Police (BTP), the attack occurred on an LNER service from Doncaster to London King’s Cross at around 6:25 p.m., shortly after the train departed Peterborough station. Armed officers intercepted the train at Huntingdon station following reports of multiple assaults.
