According to reports, the Mets are hiring Red Sox director of pitching Justin Willard to become their next pitching coach. Before his current role in Boston, the 35-year-old previously spent a number of years as a minor league coach and coordinator in the Twins organization.

The Mets hired Rachel Folden to serve as the hitting coach for the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies. In 2025, she served as a hitting coach in the Cubs’ minor league system.
