The Dodgers may have won the World Series, but the city of Los Angeles nearly lost control Saturday night as rowdy fans flooded the streets, lighting fireworks, climbing cars, and clashing with cops in wild post-game celebrations.
LAPD officers were forced to deploy tear gas and less lethal weapons in parts of downtown L.A. after being struck by bottles and industrial-sized fireworks launched from the crowd.
