Early morning truck fire in Rock Island

ROCK ISLAND, Illinois (KWQC) - An early morning fire broke out in downtown Rock Island on Sunday morning.

Huge plumes of smoke were caught on KWQC’s First Alert Skycam network.

When TV6 crews arrived on scene at 521 20th street, a red pick up truck was spotted damage.

Fire crews tell TV6 this kind of fire will let off a lot of smoke.

There is no word on a cause.
