A baby was diagnosed with a brain tumour after his mother noticed he was struggling to sit up and use his left hand - symptoms initially dismissed as developmental delays.
Jordy Arthur was just 10 months old when his mum, Teresa Craigie, 40, observed that he wasn't using his left hand, but she says doctors "did not consider it serious at that stage".
Persistent in her concerns, Teresa pushed for further tests which unveiled a plum-sized low-grade glioma on little Jordy's brain.
Just four days later, Jordy underwent major surgery to remove 90 per cent of the tumour, followed by chemotherapy to shrink the remaining mass.
