A baby was diagnosed with a brain tumour after he struggled to sit up and use his left hand - symptoms which were initially put down to developmental delays.
Jordy Arthur was 10 months old in March, 2023, when mum Teresa Craigie noticed he wasn't using his left hand.
Overcome with concern, she took him to see a doctor but was told they "did not consider it serious at that stage".
A couple of months later, in May, Jordy was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after a respiratory episode at home.
The 40-year-old pushed for tests which revealed a plum-sized low-grade glioma on Jordy’s brain.
The youngster from Angus, Scotland , underwent major surgery four days later to remove 90 per cent of the tumour, before a course of chemotherapy to reduce the rest.
