Chandigarh, November 2, 2025:In a major enforcement action, the Estate Office, Chandigarh Administration, today carried out a demolition drive at Elante Mall, Plot No. 178-178A, Industrial Area, Phase I, Chandigarh (Property IND–150) to remove unauthorized constructions and restore compliance with the sanctioned building plans.

During the physical inspection conducted on August 8, 2025, multiple violations were detected on the site, made without prior approval of the competent authority. Accordingly, a show cause notice was issued to the lessee, and after providing proper and sufficient opportunity of hearing, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (East), exercising the powers of Estate Officer, passed the demolition orders.
