High temperatures are expected to rise into the low 60s by Sunday afternoon with light winds, creating pleasant autumn conditions after a chilly start to the day.

Sunday night will see slightly warmer overnight temperatures in the low 40s as southerly winds reduce the threat of frost.

Monday brings a chance of light rain for parts of the state.

Rainfall amounts will be minimal, ranging from a trace to perhaps a tenth of an inch. Temperatures will remain seasonable with highs again in the low 60s.

Monday night through Tuesday will feature westerly winds and mostly sunny skies as high pressure builds.

Lows Monday night will be in the low to mid 40s, with Tuesday’s highs reaching the upper 50s to low 60s.
